Liverpool's Star Offers Statement to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the group of players after the controversy from his recent interview.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
Arne Slot has previously declined to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also implied that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. “I get that there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

The team's performance have remained strong in the games following the interview fallout. Jones believes the Salah's words were never meant to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and starting to win games.”
